components

uprights are the main load bearing element of a modular balustrade. infill panels and handrail brackets are mechanically attached to this key structural component. there are four signature upright designs: TUBE, GRID, CUBE and EDGE, plus VIEU, a structural glass option.

the distinctive post profiles are designed to suit a range of modern architectural solutions and can be supplied in a variety of finishes; from brushed stainless steel to a wide range of NyMet and polyester powder coated RAL colours and also options in PVD finishes.

though some of the smallest components in the icon modular handrail system, brackets and general fixings play a vital role, not only in supporting handrail but in joining infill panels or midrails to uprights.

icon handrail brackets come in three principal design styles; STEM, FIN, and BEND, all highly functional whilst offering visually appealing solutions.

the diameter of icon system handrails are 45mm for NODE fittings and 50mm for standard handrail, both dimensions affording a comfortable, secure grip for the majority of hand sizes

available in a range of materials and finishes, including our popular LedLit handrail with integral LED illumination, perfect for environments where discreet illumination is desirable.
